MRC Content-Level Accreditation for Verity

GumGum is the first independent third-party to achieve MRC accreditation for content-level brand safety.

This recognition by the MRC validates that GumGum’s proprietary contextual intelligence solution is able to consider all available signals (text, image, audio, and video) needed to give a true contextual reading.

MRC Accreditation FAQs

Who is the MRC?

The Media Rating Council (MRC) accredits audience measurement services that are relied on by buyers and sellers in the advertising industry. Their mission is to secure for the media industry and related users measurement services that are valid, reliable and effective.

What services are we accredited for?

Verity™ is accredited for content-level Contextual Analysis, Brand Safety and Brand Suitability. This recognition by the MRC validates that GumGum’s proprietary contextual intelligence solution is able to consider all available signals (text, image, audio and video) needed to give a true contextual reading.

Verity’s content-level accreditation spans across desktop and mobile web for English-language content-level text/image classification and video image, and audio classification. GumGum, which has been building its own proprietary contextual APIs for over a decade, is now showing the industry what they should expect from contextual providers.

What is the difference between Property-level vs. Content-level?

Property-level only requires consideration of text elements from the webpage, video or mobile app. Content-level requires consideration of imagery, text, audio and video.
