The Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) is an industry effort to safeguard the potential of digital media. GARM defines a Brand Safety Floor and Brand Suitability Framework that categorizes and defines common harmful content. GumGum does not currently return a category that covers Misinformation-related content. Verity does not consider whether content itself is verifiably false or willfully misleading. However, development is ongoing to add a dedicated class for identifying the topic of Misinformation within content. The plan is to return this category as a dedicated class in the future.

The Brand Safety floor categories do not map to this GumGum Threat category.
