DV360 Creative Tag Set-Up

Introduction

Attention is a performance metric for brand advertising. It is both a measurement of quality for the underlying media and a feedback loop on ad relevance. You may utilise MediaMath Invest to deliver Attention Measurement and Optimisation campaigns for brand advertisers. The benefit of using a DSP to distribute the AMT is that it requires less overhead from advertisers.

Requirements

  • AMT can measure the following ad sizes across desktop and mobile web: 970x250, 160x600, 300x250, 320x50, 728x90 and 300x600. 

  • All open web environments are measurable except for Google’s AMP Project. Apps are not supported.

  • Your DV360 tag must be implemented in DV360, not CM360.

Onboarding

Below is a simple, sample HTML tag.  You will need to implement the same tag for each creative.

Implementing the Tag

  1. Open the relevant placement and creative ui in DV360

  2. Choose “Additional Details”

  3. Paste the tag in the “HTML Tag” section

Implementing the Tag - Third-Party Display Ads

The process follows the previous section but you will need to append the Attention Measurement Tag after the third-party creative tag. This field can only hold 8,192 characters and 32KB. Google documentation can be found here.

Testing the Tag

There are two testing options available:

1. Technical Option

Preview the advertisement using DV360 and using Chrome Developer Tools you can use this url to filter the requests: event-collection-api.decoupled-attention.playground.xyz/api/event. If the integration has been successful then you will see the above event being fired.

2. Simple Option

Run a small volume of impressions and inform your Playground XYZ representative. You will receive confirmation within 1 Australian business day that we’ve recorded data.
